We spent today (Wednesday 10, September) checking out Volterra. It is a beautiful walled city and we spent the day just roaming around. There are ruins of a Roman Teatro here (used the other camera so no pictures yet...sorry) and a lot of really beautiful scenery. The weather here...unlike Rome...is wonderful and we are enjoying walking around and not sweating. Tomorrow we go to Florence with Annie and Francesco to do all of the final paperwork...only three more days!!!

Greetings from City Hall...Lodi City Hall that is. We continue to follow your adventures, enjoying each reading. Glad the temperatures have cooled for you all. It has cooled here as well. Tell Pam I cut my finger helping Bonney decorate the counter for halloween. We got the bleeding stopped in no time and Paula bandaged me up like a good mom should.
The pictures are soooo beautiful.Don't forget to include yourselves together in some. Just have Jim grab up some random tourist to snap a couple of photos, he is very good at that.
